Unless you’ve caused trauma to the skin, whether in an accident or purposely with chemical peels, lasers, or sandblasting the top layer or two of skin off, all skin conditions that show up on the skin are symptoms produced by the body letting us know one or more body system is out of balance.
The body will always provide the answer, we just need to know how to decipher the clues. The good news is it can be reversed when we provide the body with what it needs.
Wrinkles, loss of elasticity, acne, eczema, and pigment must be corrected internally for lasting correction. An in-depth consultation will reveal the reason your body is choosing to respond with your specific skin conditions.
Wellness doesn’t come in a pill and healthy skin doesn’t come from skincare products. It comes from keeping a healthy balance of the 9 parameters of health: energy levels, sleep habits and patterns, thirst, appetite, body temperature, urination, bowel movements, emotions, and pain.
Every client is experiencing health challenges for different reasons, therefore treatment protocols must be customized for each person. Your lifestyle must be taken into account so the daily tweaks to your routine will fit into your busy schedule for lasting results. Some of the healing modalities I use to help clients restore function include:
- Food Therapy
- Medical Qi Gong
- Medical Tai Qi
- Lymphatic Self Massage Techniques
- Purposeful Breathing
- Stress Management
- Sound Healing
- Tu Na Chinese Medical Facial Massage Technique To Reset The Body
Anti-Aging is a marketing buzzword that, in my professional opinion, sells false hope. We all see those advertisements promising us the fountain of youth, but how many find it? Obviously, the 17-year-old model hasn’t had Father Time leave his footprints on her perfect skin yet.
Anti-Aging can sometimes help hold certain conditions at a point where they may not get much worse, but I find that most of the time it’s a bunch of hype.
Also, many anti-aging products and services cause inflammation and increase sun sensitivity; both can speed up the aging process. That doesn’t sound like anti-aging to me, that sounds like you’ll be in the market for more products called specialty serums.
I often describe anti-aging as getting to the fountain of youth before realizing that your bucket has a bunch of holes in it.
Age Reversal is exactly the opposite, it reverses the signs of aging. We need to understand that wrinkles, scars, melasma, hyperpigmentation, and loss of elasticity are all symptoms.
When we get to the root of a symptom and give the body the nutrition it lacks, the body has the innate ability to heal itself. How beautiful is that?
Just as exercising the body produces cumulative results, the same is true for restoring function. We must build a solid foundation and build on those improvements. I find that when a client is truly committed, incredible changes happen.
