Because they can be seen on the skin, many practitioners will try scraping, burning, peeling, and bleaching type treatments on the epidermis (outer most layer of skin) with the hope of reversing the damage. But most of the time the damage is in the dermal layer of the skin. So, this methodology doesn’t make sense to me.
